I am writing to you to inform you of what valuable employees you have that made our experience with Arapahoe Acres a good one.  Let me start from the beginning.  We had a landscape plan done almost 4 years ago.  When we got it back my husband and I were both very unhappy with it.  We asked for something simple and got a very overcrowded plan.  Being disappointed we never did any of the work...

So, I decided to call this summer and see what we could do about getting a new plan.  I worked with Gerry Gedde.  he told me it would be no problem to redo the plan.  Unfortunately when it was redone we went from having a very overcrowded plan to hardly anything in our plan at all.  When I voiced my concern Gerry took the bull by the horns.  He asked me to come in and would sit with me and we could do a plan together.  This was the best idea I could have asked for!

Gerry was so patient with me and really spent a lot of time.  He made me feel like I was his only customer.  Any question I had I felt very comfortable calling and asking him.  Any changes I wanted to make he just went with the flow.  He never made me feel like a pain in the butt like I know I was being!  he had me come down and look at material more than once just to be sure it was what I wanted.  He even wanted my husband to come down to make sure he was happy too.  All this while dealing with a very busy toddler in tow.

After everything was decided Gerry set up Wayne Anderson to come out.  I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly Wayne came out and got his end of the deal all set up.  Within a Week our landscape was set to be put in.

Bill showed that morning the time I was told and quickly got to setting out plants.  I told him I was very particular about where the plants would be planted.  I wanted things very symmetrical.  He was very patient with me and very helpful with all my questions.

Umberto headed up the crew Bill brought with him.  My husband and I were Very happy with this crew.  In our past experiences with contractors, one the "boss" leaves the crew usually gets lazy.  But not these guys!  They got right to work and worked very hard the two days we had them here.  They put up with my toddler running around them and me asking, again, lots of questions.  We had asked them to leave the sod they dug up and they even spread it out and put it in the places in our yard where it looked like we needed it.  They could have just left it in a pile like we thought they would.  This was a nice little touch to come home to.

In the end, our landscape looks GREAT!  We feel this was a very positive experience.  The only regret I have is I didn't make that phone call a few years ago.  But Gerry and everyone else turned a negative into a positive.  We will definitely give Arapahoe Acres good word of mouth endorsement.  And, we will be using Arapahoe Acres for all future landscaping...

I just want to take a moment to let you know that you have an exceptional employee working for you!

Cara (in the pond department) has been a wonderful help to me time and time again, in trying to help me establish a 1st season pond that my husband and I put in our backyard last year.  I have spoken with Cara many times over the phone for advice on plants, fish algae, etc., and every time she treats me like a queen.  All of my uneducated questions are patiently answered with solid advice.

Since I live in Monument, I do not get to your nursery as often as I would like, but the times I do stop by, Cara always remembers my face and my situation, and continues to be a pleasure to deal with.  It is obvious that customer service is a priority for her, and it consistently shows in her work.

Thanks you for providing your customers with an employee like Cara, as well as a beautiful nursery and quality stock - all are very much appreciated!
